Holiday Inn Harrisburg (Hershey Area) I-81 by IHG

We stayed at the hotel with a large group for the weekend. Stephanie, the GM, and her team were absolutely amazing—extremely helpful, always available, and incredibly patient. We came with a large group of kids, and despite the noise and mess, the hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating to them, which we truly appreciated. The hotel itself is older, but many of the rooms have been renovated. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Overall, it was a great stay. The kids were happy, and everything worked out smoothly. I would highly recommend staying here.

I'm a hard guy to impress with a hotel since we do road trips NY to FL almost monthly: long story short for ~$110/night for 2-bed, this is beyond-great stay: great service, restaurant for breakfast, stupid-clean rooms, I mean can go on and on. As for my wife: impressed nice bathroom, cute little dove soaps, tile bathrooms, clean carpet, fridge/microwave standard.

I can not speak to some of the topics that other users have negatively reviewed such as the pool or gym. However, what I can say is I stayed here for my visit to Hershey Park and it was excellent. It seems they have recently renovated the rooms (at least the one we stayed in). The hotel is in a nice quiet area but also close to the highway. Staff are all friendly and attentive. The room was perfect and spotless, no complaints there. Overall, if you are looking for a place to call home and get a good nights sleep near Hershey or anywhere else in this reigon, this is a great hotel for it!

My stay was great. The renovated room I stayed in was very nice and very clean. My only negative experience was with the WiFi. I tried to use my computer for a video meeting and there was no access to the internet through the WiFi. I ended up using my telephone and that was not the best way to take part in a professional meeting.

I stayed here to have the Thanksgiving Buffet and go swimming in thier pool,the buffet was excellent and lots of selections and well worth the money,but the pool was closed and under construction along with other different areas of the hotel,and make sure you put your exercise shoes on,because the elevator to the guest rooms is a long walk down the hallway to the other end of the hotel.other than that,the service and cleanliness of the room was excellent and everything worked fine.if you don't plan on eating in the hotel's Restaurant for dinner, I recommend eating at a different exit,because their are not a whole lot of Restaurant options at the same exit as the hotel,or in the vicinity!

They are in the process of updating the rooms. It could have used some more overhead lighting. And it has been decades since I have stayed at a Holiday Inn with a dance floor. I don't dance. But it was nice to see and watch the people enjoying themselves out there.

The hotel is currently undergoing improvements, and it’s clear that they are committed to creating an even better guest experience. Despite the updates in progress, everything was clean, well-maintained, and fully functional. I appreciated the ongoing enhancements, which show a real investment in the property’s future. One of the absolute highlights of my stay was the incredible front desk staff. Every interaction was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful. Whether it was answering questions about local dining, assisting with early check-in, or providing directions around the area, they went above and beyond to make sure guests felt taken care of. That level of attentiveness is rare and very appreciated. The attached conference center was perfect for our event—spacious, well-lit, and easy to navigate. Between sessions, it was great to relax in the indoor pool or take advantage of the business center, which made handling some quick work tasks during the conference a breeze. Hotel restaurant was nice as well and clean. Morning hot breakfast buffet was rotational and was fresh. Worth the price tag as well. Parking was plentiful and easy to access, and the location couldn’t be better—right off I-81, making it a central and convenient hub whether you're traveling for business or leisure. Great location near Hershey and the state capital. Highly recommend this hotel for conferences, family stays, or business trips. Great service, excellent amenities, and a team that truly cares about your stay!

Hoy tuve una buena experiencia en el Hollyday inn. In the evening I visited their restaurant bar with high quality food and service. And I slept like a king in the totally renovated rooms Wooo! And a good breakfast could not be missing with home made products I recommend it
